Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver robust network and infrastructure solutions both on-site and remotely.
  • Provide technical pre-sales support and conduct technical assessments.
  • Deliver 2nd/3rd line support to in-house IT teams within schools.
  • Lead projects involving firewalls, wired/wireless networks, cloud IaaS, storage, safeguarding tools, and backup solutions.
  • Create documentation and ensure high standards of service delivery.

Technical Expertise Required

  • Strong 3rd Line experience across networking, firewalls, and Windows Server.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Fortinet (NSE4 preferred), Aruba, Microsoft Intune, and Entra ID.
  • Solid understanding of DNS, DHCP, IP subnetting, routing, and email security.
  • Experience working within ITIL-aligned service desk environments.
  • Desirable: experience supporting IT services in school settings.

  • Self-motivated, organised, and collaborative.
  • Passionate about delivering IT services that support teaching and learning.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel (occasional overnight stays).
  • Comfortable working from home with a suitable remote setup.
