Cambridgeshire | Permanent | £28,000 - £34,000 + excellent bens

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide high quality, customer focused IT support across multiple sites
  • Act as a first point of contact for all technical queries as an Service Desk Technician
  • Install, configure and support Microsoft platforms including Intune and Microsoft 365
  • Support hardware including desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network issues
  • Manage user accounts, passwords and permissions via Active Directory
  • Support audio visual equipment including projectors and presentation systems
  • Assist with IT projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain documentation including user guides, asset registers and procedures
  • Proactively identify and resolve recurring technical issues

 

Skills and Experience Required

  • Experience working in an Service Desk Technician or similar support role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and PC hardware
  • Experience supporting Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft 365 and Intune
  • Familiarity with Active Directory user management
  • Understanding of network fundamentals and troubleshooting
  • Experience supporting audio visual equipment is desirable
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to prioritise workloads
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider IT team
  • Flexible approach with willingness to travel between local sites
