We’re looking for a skilled and customer-focused IT Technician to deliver high-quality 2nd line support across a diverse range of systems and networks. You’ll handle complex technical queries, work on project delivery, and ensure our customers receive efficient, professional service.

This role will see you supporting Windows and Google Workspace environments, networking infrastructure, and various cloud platforms, while also helping to shape internal processes and documentation for continuous improvement.

Location: Croydon, South London Area, (office-based with regular local site visits)
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £30,000 – £34,000

Car and Driving Licence required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely and knowledgeable 2nd line IT support via the Service Desk.
• Install, configure, and maintain networks, hardware, and software.
• Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Chrome OS.
• Support firewalls, switches, wireless networks, and endpoint devices.
• Create and maintain accurate documentation, including knowledge base articles.
• Assist with project work, from planning to delivery.
• Mentor and support junior team members.

About You

• Minimum of 2 years’ 2nd line support experience in an SLA-driven environment.
• Strong knowledge of networking (IP, switching, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP), Windows Server, and workstation administration.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, and Intune management.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Chrome OS, Apple School Manager, and iPad support is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (local travel required).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
