An exciting opportunity for an experienced Network and Infrastructure Engineer to join a forward thinking IT team supporting a busy educational environment in Brixton, London. This role offers ownership of network and core infrastructure services within a secure and complex environment.

Location: Brixton, London
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, full time, 35 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain wired and wireless network infrastructure
  • Configure and support firewalls, switches, routers, and access points
  • Act as senior escalation for network and infrastructure issues
  • Support Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, and Intune
  • Monitor performance, security, and resilience across the infrastructure
  • Contribute to IT projects, upgrades, and continuous improvements
  • Maintain technical documentation and automate processes where possible

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in network and infrastructure engineering
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise networks, firewalls, DNS, and DHCP
  • Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud technologies
  • Familiarity with PowerShell or scripting tools
  • Excellent communication skills with technical and non technical users
  • Education sector experience desirable but not essential
