Are you a seasoned IT professional with a passion for problem-solving and infrastructure management? We are seeking a dedicated 3rd Line Support Engineer to join our dynamic team on a permanent basis. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our IT department, enhancing and adding value to our services.
Location: Remote/Office-Based as Required – Remote Hybrid working
Key Responsibilities:
- Problem Management: Own and manage incidents and requests escalated from 2nd Line Engineers. Diagnose root causes, implement workarounds, and proactively prevent incidents.
- IT Infrastructure: Install, configure, and maintain infrastructure services and components. Monitor performance and security, and resolve operational issues.
- Network Support: Perform network maintenance, diagnose problems using troubleshooting tools, and manage network security, including patching and responding to threats.
- Cloud Support: Provide comprehensive support for cloud-based services, particularly within the Microsoft stack, including Office 365, Azure AD, Intune, and other related technologies.
- General Duties: Develop and maintain documentation, assist with disaster recovery and backup systems, and ensure compliance with GDPR and information security policies.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Essential:
- Degree level or equivalent industry qualification
- Strong technical background in M365 platform, Azure AD, and Intune
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills
- Planning and organisational abilities
- Desirable:
- Experience in the charity sector
- Project management skills (Prince2 Agile certification preferred)
