An excellent opportunity for an experienced AV Support Engineer to join a busy and dynamic team supporting live, streamed, and online events within a leading educational environment. This hands on role focuses on the delivery, operation, and support of high quality audio visual services across multiple event and presentation spaces.

Location: London
Salary: £30,000 to £37,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, full time

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and support live, streamed, and online events
  • Provide technical support across auditoriums, classrooms, and presentation spaces
  • Prepare, rig, de rig, and maintain AV equipment before, during, and after events
  • Operate audio, lighting, and visual systems for live events
  • Support event planning in collaboration with project managers
  • Maintain AV equipment and technical areas in line with health and safety requirements
  • Manage consumables within the AV budget
  • Support recording, editing, and live streaming activity

Key Requirements

• Proven experience supporting audio visual systems in live event or production environments
  • Ability to read AV schematics and understand audio and DMX signal flow
  • Experience operating audio and lighting desks
  • Knowledge of wireless frequency management
  • Experience supporting live streamed events and video systems
  • Confident using presentation software including PowerPoint
  • Physically able to handle equipment and work at height where required
  • Flexible approach, including availability for evenings and weekends
  • Strong communication skills and excellent digital literacy

Desirable

• Experience reading CAD plans
  • Experience writing risk assessments
  • Wiring, soldering, or basic scenic construction skills
