Are you an experienced project manager with a passion for system implementation and financial technology? We're recruiting for a Finance Systems Project Manager to join a dynamic organisation, playing a key role in the successful implementation of new financial systems. You’ll be leading a major project to integrate and migrate key financial systems, ensuring the charity's financial operations are streamlined and efficient.

Location: Hybrid working – Two days a week in the office (or more depending on requirements)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Fixed term, up to 12 months, full-time

Salary: up to £65,000

About the Role

As the Finance System Implementation Manager, you will oversee the implementation of Sun Systems, Proactis, and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), leading the project from design and data migration through to go-live. You’ll collaborate closely with the finance and IT teams, working alongside external partners to ensure a smooth and successful transition from the current system. This is a pivotal role where you’ll directly influence the operational efficiency of the charity’s financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initiation to post-implementation, ensuring timelines, budget, and scope are met.
• System Implementation: Oversee the configuration, customization, and integration of Sun Systems, Proactis, and EPM, ensuring they align with the charity’s financial needs.
• Collaboration: Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project success.
• Training and Support: Coordinate user acceptance testing, develop training materials, and provide post-go-live support for staff.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for an experienced project manager with a strong background in financial systems implementation. The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience leading the implementation of Infor Sun Systems or similar ERP systems.
• A recognized project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2).
• Proficiency in Sun Systems, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, or similar platforms.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in system integration and data migration.
