Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Management: Lead the IT Customer Support function, overseeing daily operations and supporting the Head of IT with performance reviews and team development.
  • Service Delivery: Ensure all helpdesk queries are logged, scheduled, and actioned efficiently, providing first-line technical support to internal customers.
  • Communication: Act as the first point of contact for IT services, effectively communicating with stakeholders, providing updates, and ensuring clear progress reports on service requests.
  • Team Development: Coach and motivate a team of technicians, conducting regular check-ins and supporting their professional growth.
  • Inventory & Procurement: Maintain an inventory of IT hardware and software licenses, managing purchasing processes and liaising with IT suppliers.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in an IT support role, with a strong understanding of various IT applications and systems, including Office 365 and Active Directory.
  • Experience in managing and developing teams, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with users at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
