We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer for a 1 to 3 month contract with the opportunity to make an immediate impact. You will play a key part in maintaining reliable services, leading technical operations, and delivering first-class support. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT systems to ensure reliable, secure, and productive use.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT and network issues quickly and effectively.
• Manage service desk tickets, prioritising in-person and urgent support.
• Maintain IT documentation, asset registers, and system backups.
• Oversee user administration, access, and security across systems.
• Support and deliver IT projects, ensuring high standards and best practices.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in a Lead Engineer or senior technical role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Office 365, Azure, Intune).
• Solid networking skills (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLAN, switching, wireless).
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
