We’re working with a leading IT solutions provider who supports schools and colleges across the UK — and they’re looking for a Network Manager to take charge of one of their key client sites.

Dartford (Client Site-Based)
£38,000 - £45,000 per year + Pension Scheme + 25 Days Annual Leave + Benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver consistent, high-quality IT support services across the client site.
  • Act as the on-site technical lead, owning day-to-day operations and service delivery.
  • Guide, mentor, and support on-site engineers, managing workloads and training needs.
  • Maintain and develop robust network infrastructure including switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Manage cloud services and platforms including Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Active Directory.
  • Oversee backup systems, cybersecurity protocols, disaster recovery, and asset management.
  • Build strong relationships with key school staff and liaise with senior engineers and account managers.
  • Take the lead on project work, particularly during school holidays.
  • Drive continuous improvement, identifying areas for service upgrades and innovation.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3–4 years’ experience in a technical support or network management role.
  • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure (wired and wireless), Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Active Directory.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Experience managing small teams or mentoring junior engineers.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Industry certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, Apple, etc.) are highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in the education sector is a bonus, but not essential.
  • Must be eligible for an enhanced DBS check.
