Description

Our client is a global EdTech SaaS provider who are looking for an experienced Channel Sales Manager to joint their team to help drive growth within their education sector.

In this key role, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with channel partners, such as distributors, resellers, and technology partners, to drive sales of educational products and solutions. You will work closely with the EMEA Sales Director and collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure channel partners have the resources they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

Channel Strategy Development:

  • Craft and implement a comprehensive channel strategy to achieve sales targets within the education sector.
  • Identify, recruit, and cultivate relationships with new and existing channel partners.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders at partner organizations.

Sales and Revenue Growth:

  • Propel sales growth through strategic management of both existing and new channel partners.
  • Monitor and address partner performance to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Develop and execute joint business plans to meet and exceed sales targets.

Partner Enablement:

  • Equip channel partners with training and resources to effectively promote and sell educational products.
  • Work with the marketing team to produce co-branded materials, campaigns, and events that support partner sales efforts.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to ensure alignment with company objectives and identify growth opportunities.

Market Analysis and Reporting:

  • Conduct research to uncover trends and opportunities in the education sector.
  • Monitor competitive activity and adjust channel strategies as necessary.
  • Provide senior management with regular updates on channel performance, market trends, and sales forecasts.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Coordinate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and customer support, to align channel strategies and initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for channel partners, addressing any issues or concerns efficiently.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years in EMEA channel management, sales, or business development, preferably within the education sector.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth through channel partnerships.
  • Experience with educational institutions, resellers, distributors, or similar channel partners.

Skills:

  • In-depth understanding of the education market and corporate training sectors.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with channel partners and attend industry events.
