GreatFind Recruitment is thrilled to present an exceptional opportunity for a Senior IT Technician.   This full-time contract position offers a competitive day rate.

In this role you will be working Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing 1st and 2nd line IT support for the academies IT services, which includes diagnosing and resolving IT issues for end users, both remote and onsite.
• Effective use of the IT Service Desk to assist end users, manage workload, prioritise tasks, and record activity.
• Maintenance of IT hardware and software inventories, including deployment and maintenance of PCs, Chromebooks, Apple iPads, Apple Macs, printers, and audio-visual equipment.
• Administration of user login accounts, distribution and security groups, ensuring that staff and students have access to the data and resources they need.
• Test and install new software, ensuring licensing compliance.
• Provide onsite support and assistance for Trust conferences and other important Trust events to ensure technology is set up and working reliably.
• Undertake any duties, consistent with this position, as directed by the Director of IT, IT Systems Manager, or the Chief Executive.

Requirements

• At least two years' experience in a similar IT support role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft desktop applications, Server, and OS.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Full UK driving license required.
