They are now seeking a proactive and client-focused Solutions Account Manager to strengthen relationships, ensure service excellence, and drive the adoption of innovative IT solutions within their client base.

You’ll work closely with schools and education leaders, ensuring their IT strategy is aligned to best practice while identifying opportunities to add value through projects and managed services.
About the Role
As a Solutions Account Manager, you will:
- Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of education clients.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ensure clients receive exceptional service and proactive support.
- Identify opportunities for additional services and projects that enhance IT provision.
- Work closely with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions.
- Lead regular client reviews, providing insights and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records within CRM and contribute to account planning.
- Represent the organisation as a trusted advisor within the education sector.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a commercially aware and personable professional who can combine strong relationship management with technical understanding.
Essential skills and experience:
- Proven experience as an Account Manager within IT, MSP, or technology services.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, and managed solutions.
- Ability to consult with clients at all levels, from technical staff to senior leaders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Customer-focused approach with a track record of building trusted relationships.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel.
Desirable:
- Experience working with schools, academies, or the education sector.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, and safeguarding/security solutions.
- Familiarity with Fortinet, Barracuda, or other education-focused technologies.
