Technical Team Lead Engineer – Networking

Location: Surrey
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per year + Pension Scheme + Training Programme

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver outstanding network, server, and cybersecurity projects for clients.
• Ensure customers receive excellent technical support, promptly addressing their needs.
• Plan resources and equipment for project delivery, ensuring seamless execution.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Serve as a technical authority within the company, guiding the team and customers.
• Oversee the successful completion of multi-technology projects from definition to delivery.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in delivering multi-technology projects, including planning, design, and implementation of networks (wired & WiFi), security firewalls, server virtualization, and Microsoft OS & server applications.
• Strong experience with cybersecurity, server virtualization, and Microsoft Azure / 365.
• Excellent communication and social skills, with the ability to keep customers informed and solve technical challenges effectively.
• Ability to provide leadership and support to a growing technical team, ensuring high standards of customer service.
• A strong focus on attention to detail and a proactive approach to service delivery.
• Ideally a graduate with relevant certifications (such as CCNA, Microsoft Azure / 365), or working towards them.
• Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for business travel (business mileage paid).
• Enhanced DBS check will be required due to the education-specific nature of the role.
