Finance Transformation Analyst

A large multi-site education organisation is seeking a Finance Transformation Analyst to support a major finance transformation programme focused on improving operational efficiency, process consistency and measurable business outcomes across finance functions.

This Finance Transformation Analyst role will focus on identifying finance process pain points across P2P, O2C and R2R processes, working closely with stakeholders to design scalable improvements and deliver measurable operational benefits. The Finance Transformation Analyst will act as the bridge between finance teams and system delivery partners, ensuring solutions are aligned to real business outcomes rather than just system capability.

Salary: Up to £85,000 FTE (£42,500 pro rata) | Type: 6 Month FTC | Location: SE London/Greater London (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse existing finance processes to identify inefficiencies and operational pain points
• Identify manual workarounds, reconciliation issues and process bottlenecks
• Design improved TO-BE finance processes across P2P, O2C and R2R
• Work closely with finance stakeholders and system integration partners
• Define measurable efficiencies, KPIs and business benefits
• Support automation, process standardisation and improved controls
• Produce evidence-based recommendations for senior leadership teams
• Drive improvements in reporting accuracy, compliance and operational efficiency

Person Specification

• Proven experience in a Finance Transformation Analyst, Senior Analyst or Finance Transformation role
• Strong understanding of finance process improvement and optimisation
• Experience working across P2P, O2C and R2R finance processes
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
• Experience supporting ERP or Oracle-related transformation programmes
• Ability to translate operational pain points into measurable business improvements
• Experience within education or multi-site organisations desirable
