IT Project Engineer | Education Technology | Remote | £50,000 Base + £25,000 Uncapped Commission + £6,000 Car Allowance + 26 Days Holiday

An established and financially secure UK technology provider specialising in education connectivity, safeguarding, filtering and security solutions is entering an exciting phase of national growth. With a strong presence across Multi Academy Trusts, government frameworks and direct school sales, the business is now investing heavily in expanding its national partner channel.

This is a high impact IT Project Engineer role with genuine strategic influence. You will own and evolve a national partner programme, work directly with senior leadership, and play a pivotal role in extending services into hundreds of additional schools across the UK.

The Opportunity

As IT Project Engineer, you will define, refine and manage a national partner programme focused on driving revenue growth, quality partner acquisition and long term retention.

You will work closely with senior leadership and sales teams to ensure the channel strategy complements direct sales, framework bidding and MAT engagement.

This is a commercially driven role with ownership of strategy, partner agreements, performance KPIs and partner lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

Define

• Partner programme strategy and objectives
• Partner criteria, charter and benefits
• Commercial agreements and contractual terms
• Reporting KPIs and internal processes

Manage

• National partner recruitment
• Partner communications and engagement
• Performance against net new and renewal targets
• Collaboration with sales and technical teams
• Forecasting and pipeline accuracy

Improve

• Channel quality and partner performance
• Partner best practice and enablement
• Underperformance management and corrective action
• Overall partner engagement and revenue contribution

About You

We are looking for a commercially astute and results driven channel professional with:

• Proven experience managing or building a partner channel
• Track record of achieving revenue and growth targets
• Strong negotiation and contract experience
• Education sector or public sector knowledge desirable
• Strategic thinking with operational delivery capability
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Ability to travel nationally and stay away when required

Role Scope

• National territory
• Circa 75 to 125 partners
• Average 3 physical visits per month plus virtual engagement
• Over 15,000 miles travel per annum
• Three or five year contracts
• Growth and retention focused KPIs
