North London£35,000–£45,000 (DOE) - Full-time - Permanent - Term Time (40 weeks)+ 1 day per week PPA working from home
About the Role
As a Computing Teacher, you will deliver high-quality, practical, and engaging Computing lessons across KS1 and KS2. You’ll work across multiple primary schools, supported by established schemes of work, resources, and a specialist team.
This role is ideal for teachers who want to focus on excellent teaching, develop their Computing expertise, and enjoy a varied, dynamic working week.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach a broad and practical Computing curriculum across KS1 and KS2
- Plan and prepare lessons, supported by one full day of PPA from home each week
- Lead Computing clubs such as robotics, coding, or Digital Leaders
- Provide targeted support, interventions, and small-group teaching
- Track pupil progress and communicate outcomes to school leads
- Contribute to curriculum development and team discussions
- Maintain high expectations and positive behaviour in all lessons
- Engage in ongoing CPD and training in Computing and EdTech
What We’re Looking For
- Teaching Degree, PGCE, or equivalent qualification
- Experience working in a school setting (ECTs welcome)
- Confidence teaching across KS1 and KS2
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A genuine interest in Computing — expertise can be developed
- Someone proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working independently across multiple schools
Training, support, and all necessary equipment will be provided.
