Covering Kingston, Chiswick, and Hounslow - Permanent - Travel Expenses Paid - Monday–Friday - Full UK Driving Licence Required
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 (depending on experience)
This is an exciting opportunity to join a close-knit team offering scheduled onsite support visits to schools. You’ll provide a wide range of technical assistance across networks, devices, and systems, helping schools maintain a stable and effective ICT environment for staff and students. Travel expenses are fully covered, and you'll have the autonomy to manage your visits while being part of a collaborative support team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing hands-on technical support for Windows, Mac OS, and mobile devices
- Administering networks, servers (2012–2019), and cloud platforms including Office 365, Google Workspace, and Azure
- Setting up and installing PCs, laptops, AV equipment, and software packages
- Supporting users with MIS systems and offering informal user training where needed
- Troubleshooting printers, hardware faults, network issues, and AV equipment
- Advising schools on IT supplies and maintaining up-to-date inventories
- Occasionally assisting with small projects or system upgrades
What We’re Looking For
- A strong foundation in IT support (hardware, software & networking)
- Working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Office 365, Google Workspace, Azure)
- Comfortable supporting users across both technical and non-technical levels
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
- Excellent communication, time management and customer service skills
- Previous experience supporting schools or education settings (desirable but not essential)
