We are supporting a forward-thinking organisation delivering essential IT services to a diverse workforce. They are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior IT Support Engineer to provide first, second, and third-line support, maintain IT infrastructure, and contribute to digital innovation and automation projects.

Central London (Hybrid: 2–3 days in office) -  3-Month Contract - Competitive Day Rate - Potential Extension or Permanent Opportunity

About the Role

As a Senior IT Support Engineer, you will be a key member of the IT team, ensuring staff have a smooth and efficient experience with technology. You will manage incidents and service requests, support IT infrastructure, and assist with automation using Power Automate. This role provides hands-on experience across Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and hardware support, while directly contributing to the organisation’s mission and impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first, second, and third-line IT support across hardware, software, and business platforms
  • Manage and resolve incidents and service requests in line with SLAs
  • Maintain and track IT assets, including deployment, movement, and disposal
  • Support automation initiatives using Power Automate, integrating with Microsoft 365 tools
  • Collaborate with colleagues, sharing knowledge and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, information security, and organisational policies
  • Assist with the administration and maintenance of IT infrastructure including Microsoft 365, Azure, and remote working solutions

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in second and third-line IT support
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, Intune, and Autopilot, including Mac devices via JAMF
  • Technical proficiency in networks, infrastructure, and hardware support
  • Experience using a Service Desk platform and ITIL V4 Foundation certification
  • Understanding of GDPR and handling sensitive information
  • Desirable: experience with Power Platform, cyber security, and Microsoft certifications
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
