Description
We are recruiting for an experienced IT Service Delivery Manager to oversee IT services across a large Multi Academy Trust of around 30 schools across South West London, Surrey and the surrounding areas.
This is a varied leadership role, combining service delivery, stakeholder management, team leadership and technical oversight. You will manage a team of around 10 engineers and ensure schools receive a consistent, high quality and responsive IT service.
The role is around 70% service delivery and operational management, with around 30% technical oversight, making it ideal for someone who can lead service performance while still understanding the technical environment.
Location: South London and Surrey
Working Pattern: Hybrid, up to 3 days per week in the office
Salary: Up to £50,000, with flexibility towards £55,000 for the right person

Key Responsibilities
- Lead IT service delivery across a large education environment.
- Manage and support a team of approximately 10 IT engineers.
- Act as the key escalation point for service issues and major incidents.
- Build strong relationships with school leaders, senior stakeholders and internal teams.
- Monitor service performance, customer satisfaction and service levels.
- Drive service improvements across incident, request, change and escalation processes.
- Support engineer scheduling, resource planning and site support requirements.
- Produce service reports and contribute to regular service review meetings.
- Work with technical teams to ensure systems, infrastructure and devices are reliable and secure.
Skills and Experience Required
- Experience in an IT Service Delivery Manager, IT Manager, ICT Manager, Network Manager or Technical Services Manager role.
- Strong experience managing IT support teams, engineers or technicians.
- Experience supporting multiple sites, ideally within schools, education, a Multi Academy Trust or an IT managed service provider.
- Good understanding of service desk operations, SLAs, incident management and service improvement.
- Strong stakeholder management and customer service skills.
- Good technical knowledge across infrastructure, networking, Microsoft technologies and end user support.
- Ability to manage priorities across multiple locations.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to school sites when required.
