We are recruiting for an experienced 2nd Line IT Engineer to provide hands on technical support across two nearby sites in the Reigate area.

Location: Reigate
Salary: £32,000
Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Site Based

This is a standalone position suited to an engineer who is already operating at 2nd line level and is confident troubleshooting technical and network issues independently.

You will receive 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, company pension, death in service cover, employee benefits and the opportunity to purchase additional annual leave.

About the role

You will take responsibility for day to day IT support, troubleshooting and maintaining the site's technology and network environment.

Responsibilities will include:

Providing 2nd line hardware, software and network support

Supporting Microsoft 365, Azure AD and Active Directory

Troubleshooting switches and network connectivity

Supporting wired and wireless network infrastructure

Building and configuring PCs and devices

Managing user accounts, servers and cloud services

Investigating and resolving helpdesk tickets

Supporting backups, security and network monitoring

Maintaining accurate hardware and software records

About you

You will already have proven 2nd line IT support experience and be comfortable taking ownership of technical issues.

You should have:

Strong 2nd line troubleshooting experience

Good understanding of switching technologies and their application within a network environment

Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Azure AD knowledge

Experience supporting wired and wireless networks

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work confidently and independently

Full UK driving licence and access to a car

Microsoft, Cisco, Aruba or Apple certifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
