We’re currently partnering with a growing London-based ICT services provider delivering managed IT support to schools and education settings across the region. Supporting a portfolio of client sites, this organisation provides onsite technical expertise, infrastructure management and project delivery across multiple environments.

The Role

This is a full-time, field-based IT Engineer role supporting a portfolio of 5–10 education clients. You will take ownership of day-to-day ICT operations, delivering installations, maintenance and technical support across networks, servers and end-user systems. The role combines hands-on support with small-to-medium project work and offers strong long-term development potential.

Key Responsibilities

•          Maintain and support ICT networks, servers and end-user devices across multiple sites

•          Administer Windows Server (2012–2019), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy

•          Install, configure and deploy PCs, software packages and network equipment

•          Support Microsoft 365, Google for Education and Azure environments

•          Provide user support for MIS systems and deliver informal technical training

•          Assist with infrastructure upgrades and small-to-medium project delivery

Experience Required

•          Minimum 2 years’ client-facing IT support experience within education

•          Strong Windows & Mac OS support experience

•          Hands-on experience with Active Directory, GPO, DNS and DHCP

•          Knowledge of Hyper-V, VMware ESXi and cloud platforms (M365, Azure, Google)

•          Full UK Driving Licence and access to a reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursed)

Salary & Benefits

•          £28,000 – £38,000 (DOE)

•          Mileage reimbursed for client site travel
