An excellent opportunity has arisen for a creative and highly organised Marketing Executive to join an established education software company supporting schools for more than twenty five years.

This role would suit someone with one to two years of marketing experience who is keen to develop their career within a friendly and fast paced team. It would also be an excellent opportunity for a teacher or education professional looking to move into a marketing role within the education technology sector.

You will play an important part in delivering engaging marketing campaigns across events, email and digital channels. Working with a well established brand trusted by thousands of schools, you will help create campaigns that reach teachers, school leaders and education professionals across the UK and beyond.

£28,000 to £32,000 depending on experience
Hybrid, London with one day per week in the Angel office
Permanent, full time

The role

Working remotely for most of the week, with one day per week from the Angel office in London, you will work closely with the Senior Marketing Executive and wider commercial team.

A key focus will be supporting conferences, exhibitions, webinars and customer events, alongside helping to create targeted email campaigns that engage schools and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of conferences, exhibitions, webinars and other education sector events
• Manage event logistics including bookings, suppliers, materials, schedules and attendee communications
• Create and maintain event listings through Eventbrite or similar platforms, ensuring accuracy and strong brand presentation
• Maintain the events calendar in line with marketing priorities
• Liaise with venues, event providers and suppliers, including negotiating rates where required
• Prepare event materials and ensure brand consistency across all campaign assets
• Work closely with the Sales team to ensure they have the right collateral and support for events
• Assist with post event reporting, feedback and return on investment tracking
• Help create, build and schedule email marketing campaigns
• Support audience segmentation, targeting and personalisation to improve campaign performance
• Monitor email marketing metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
• Contribute to wider marketing activity including content creation, proofreading and website updates

Skills and experience

• Marketing experience, ideally within education, software, technology, events or a business to business environment
• Teachers, school staff and education professionals looking to transition into marketing are strongly encouraged to apply
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
• Strong planning, organisation and project coordination skills
• A genuine interest in education, schools and education technology
• Experience creating or supporting email campaigns would be beneficial
• Experience using Eventbrite or similar event management platforms would be useful
• Familiarity with CRM or email marketing systems such as Dotdigital would be an advantage
• Working knowledge of Canva, Adobe or another design platform would be beneficial
• A proactive approach, willingness to learn and ability to work collaboratively within a team
