Description

GreatFind Recruitment are working with an established and growing technology provider within the education sector, recruiting for a Technical Account Manager to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically minded, customer focused professional with experience across pre sales, account management, technical consultancy or senior support environments. The role will focus on supporting strategic education and partner accounts, helping drive customer success, technical engagement and long term account growth.

Working closely with Account Managers, Technical Operations and Partner teams, you will act as the lead technical contact across key accounts, supporting service reviews, technical roadmaps, onboarding, partner enablement and pre sales activity.

The role offers a national remit with hybrid working and occasional travel to customer sites and the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver technical service reviews and account engagement meetings with schools, trusts and strategic partners
• Support pre sales activities including technical qualification, solution design, demonstrations and tender responses
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across education and partner organisations
• Work closely with Technical Operations teams to proactively identify and resolve technical risks
• Deliver technical training sessions and create supporting documentation and enablement materials
• Support onboarding processes to ensure strong customer experience from implementation onwards
• Collaborate with Product and Sales teams to align customer requirements with suitable solutions and services
• Maintain ongoing engagement through proactive outreach, onsite visits and technical roadmap discussions

Ideal Background

We are keen to speak with candidates who have experience in one or more of the following:

• Technical Account Management
• Pre Sales Engineering
• Senior Technical Support or Consultancy
• MSP or Education Technology environments
• Connectivity, Networking, Security or Unified Communications solutions

Skills and Experience Required

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience supporting customers in a technical or consultative capacity
• Good understanding of networking, connectivity or security technologies
• Comfortable delivering presentations, training and technical demonstrations
• Organised with strong planning and time management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across sales and technical teams
• Self motivated with a proactive approach to customer engagement

Desirable Certifications

• Cisco CCNA / CCDA
• Fortinet FCNSA or equivalent
• Cisco CCNP / CCDP
• Fortinet NSE4
