Perm | £45,000 – £50,000 | Central London

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support across infrastructure, systems, and core platforms
• Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues, delivering root cause analysis and resolution
• Take ownership of key systems including Microsoft 365, Intune, backups, and networking
• Monitor, maintain, and optimise systems to ensure performance, availability, and security
• Support delivery of IT projects including cloud improvements, upgrades, and migrations
• Contribute to system security, patching, and compliance activities
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop digital solutions that support teaching and learning
• Produce and maintain clear technical documentation and operational procedures

Person Specification

• Proven experience in a Senior Systems Engineer or similar infrastructure-focused role
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft environments including Windows, Microsoft 365, and Azure
• Experience with identity and access management (Entra ID) and endpoint management (Intune/Jamf)
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP) and security principles
• Experience supporting backup and recovery solutions and system optimisation
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills, able to support non-technical stakeholders effectively
